On the 10th of January Antonio was born in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick at 5:45 pm by Cesarean Section. He weighed 1025 kg and measured 35 cm.
He was named Antonio for Saint Anthony of Padua (or Lisbon, if you happen to be Portuguese) and Francisco for Saint Francis of Assisi (Saint Anthony was a Franciscan also). Mommy was not taking chances after those rocky last months of pregnancy and Daddy did not have better options. His great-grandmother (who died in December) loved the name and that sealed the deal. Saint Anthony and Saint Francis were bright men who had an earthy approach to spirituality.
